Last pics of Nundle....

We had "nibbles on the lawn" each night before dinner:

We also organised a couple of swaps between some of the bloggers, we each had to give a secret gift, plus we also had an ugly fabric swap. Amazing what some people find extremely ugly, someone else will like!!
We also brought along any fabric & patterns we no longer wanted to share with the others. Was a bit of a free for all!!

Some of us met for breakfast at a cafe before we left on Sunday morning:
Not everyone was here, maybe recovering from the night before??? LOL

And last of all here is a pic of the goodies I bought from Cottage On The Hill. Kerry has some lovely fabrics and a good range of patterns & books.

I had a fantastic time and will definitely be planning on going next year. It was great to catch up with people I met last year and meet new lovely ladies. A lot of bloggers there, I think some others have been talked into starting a blog too!

Girls Day In The Country

This past weekend I had the pleasure of going to the Girls Day In The Country again. It was a fantastic weekend put on by Kerry of Cottage on the Hill.
I got to catch up with all the lovely people I met last year - what a blast we had!
this year we stayed in the cabins at the Caravan Park and they were just lovely, will definitely be staying there next year.

I have been sewing...really I have!!

I have made these blocks for a blog swap for a rainbow quilt. There are 9 blocks in total, each a different colour, so my colour was dark blue. They are now on their way to the US, to be swapped out. The block is called "The Dandy Quilt".
Tomorrow I am heading off bright and early with JoJo from Home Sweet Home for a trip to Nundle to be part of the Girls Day In The Country. I went last year and had a fantastic weekend, met a lot of bloggers and looking forward to catching up with them again this year. The guest teachers are Leanne Beasley & Rosalie Quinlan, so we are all waiting to see what gorgeous projects they have designed for us this year.

Another table runner

This is another table runner I made last week for a friend's present. I love the colours, doesn't go with my decor unfortunately LOL

Off to Nundle (Girls Day In The Country) retreat in less than 2 weeks, it is gearing up to be a fun weekend!!
